Over forty years ago I made contact with Brig Peter Young regarding an antecedent who was involved in the Civil War (for the King) - thanks to The Sealed Knot.
For me the most interesting episode of the 'Forever Green' TV show was the one with the ghostly Civil War connection.
For good measure, my favourite quote from those times (Cromwell came out with some good ones too) is: 'Clubs was trumps when Basing fell' - ever heard that one? It would be even more interesting were it to be true - I don't know whether it is or not.
